Sullivan on Pinterest

Pinterest is a fantastic site I've been using for a while now, which lets you "pin" images you find online, with a link back to the site the image comes from. It's hard to get more specific than that, because people use it for all different things - possible shopping purchases, decorating ideas for their homes, inspiration for their art or just funny/cute pictures they like. You can also look at the pins of other members and repin them to your own boards.

This morning, I came across a Pinterest account which the pinner was using to catalog all of her Sims downloads. Well, why didn't I ever think of that? After a bit of fumbling, I was able to set up a Sims-only Pinterest account and will be using it to keep track of the things I download. I'm hoping this will let me keep better track of what I have and from where and will also be a good way for you guys to also find new downloads.

Edit: Just to note that the link to my Pinterest board is also in the welcome post in the sidebar. I can see a lot of people scrolling down to this post to get to the board but eventually, this post will fall off the front page and that's going to be a pain. ;)

So here is the promised lot tour of Suffolk University's new faculty of music, Nihill Conservatorium. It is named after Charlton Nihill, the first Sim in Sullivan to reach the top of the music career. This roof has been adjusted since I took the picture - it was just a little too steep for my liking.

Lot tour: Azure Court Apartments

I built and decorated this lot quite a while ago now but seeing I'd already posted the lot tour at N99, I figured I might as well put it up here as well. If you've already seen this at N99, feel free to skip this. There are no new pics and the text is basically the same. I should have a real update for you in a couple of days!

I had the idea for the exterior for quite a while but wasn't sure if I wanted to bother building apartments. They always sound like such a hassle! As it turns out, it was a bit of a hassle! The apartment doors you'll see in these pictures are custom and supposedly functional - except they're not. So I had to replace them with the EA doors. Ditto for the custom arches I used in the foyer. Still no idea why they didn't work but whatever. Apartments are a pain and I probably will not be building one again!
