Notes:
- I saw this pose in Tanja's last birthday post and had to try it out! I've had the box in my game for a while but completely forgot about it. There are some other really cute toddler poses with it too, so I think I'll be getting more use out of it in the future. If you don't already have it, you can find it here.
- I think I've said this before but please bear with me with these birthday posts while I'm still ironing out the kinks in this new months system! I'm still working this out and Asha and Cordy are sort of guinea-pigging it for me. Any Sims who get pregnant in the future will be updated at 4 months, 7 months and then when they're due.
Just popping in to say that this picture is full of cuteness.
ReplyDeleteSupercute pose!!! I think I have that one too, I have more than i know what to do with. This is such uber cuteness I need to try it out! :)
ReplyDeleteThough irl you aren't supposed to do that haha.
Oh, it's so cute! I've used that box too but I need to use it more.
ReplyDeleteI love that posebox and have been dying to use it. But, no toddlers yet :-(. I'm glad the Lanes were the first to use it. Ruby is loving it.
ReplyDeleteI adore that pose!!!
ReplyDeleteI think George loved it just as much as Ruby is!
I think I've fallen in love with that posebox, it's just too cute.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! Once I saw little George at Simsville, I had to use it. ;)
ReplyDeleteLOL, Maisie, yes, I know! There are multiple pictures of my grandmother doing that to me and my mother is still annoyed about it! I was way younger than Ruby when she did it to me too - like 9 months! It's amazing my arms are still attached to my shoulders. ;)
Awww, definitely a cute pose! I don't think you have to worry about it being too unrealistic, after all, it is part of The Sims ;)
ReplyDeletePerhaps you could do the pregnancy updates at each trimester? Or is 4 and 7 months a trimester? Lol, I honestly have no clue, whichever way you decide to do it, I'm really loving the months system!
Tessa, oh, no, I'm not worried! But thinking about it in real-life terms, it wouldn't be a pose I'd use for a more fretful parent, like Lia.
ReplyDeleteAnd yep, you got it! The first 3 months are the first trimester, so I take the beginning of the fourth month as the beginning of the second trimester, and the beginning of the seventh month as the beginning of the third trimester.
That picture is so cute! You're more detailed than I am, I take the easy way out and still do a general seasonal pregnancy/birth post instead of aligning them up with the months. ;)
ReplyDeleteShana, if this ends up being too much for me, I might end up doing that myself! So far, it's okay. I can't ever remember a time I've had more than two Sims pregnant at the same time, so it shouldn't get too crazy!
ReplyDeleteY'all are both more ambitious than me! I don't do pregnancy updates at all! They're lucky if they get to be a walk-by in somebody's story, lol!
ReplyDeleteThat picture! Awww! I love it! :)
Laura, LOL! I only started doing them because I found that half the time, my play schedule meant that there wasn't usually a good place for my pregnant Sims to make a cameo. And pregnant Sims are so cute, so I had to write in a little something for them. And an update like this takes about 5 minutes to do.
ReplyDeleteI have an idea for a banner using that pose but I'm not sure it'll work. I'll try it out today though, because it's really so cute.
