Download: 3 ultrasound recolours

While I was shooting yesterday's birthday post, it started to annoy me that Camilla is carrying twins but the image on the ultrasound machine was of one baby. I tried Photoshopping it but that was a bit of a disaster. I realised it would be easier to just make a recolour. It was very easy, so I also did a couple more.

The three scans are, from left, 6 weeks with one baby, 8 weeks with twins and 20 weeks with twins. All three are clearly labelled and the mesh from Retail Sims is included.

Download them here!

Side note but if you have a hospital in your hood (or want one), you should definitely go and get the rest of the Retail Sims medical set, because it's very, very cool.

Update: 7/9/2024

This morning, I did some extra recolours for this object by request and I thought I'd throw them up here as well. I added an ultrasound image for a triplet pregnancy and another for a quad pregnancy. The following zip contains the new images and the old ones, plus the mesh!

Grab it here!

  4. I just shot some scenes with the same ultrasound machine and I'm so happy that someone made recolors. The default machine picture wasn't quite corresponding with the story but these are going to help a lot, especially with some future pregnant sims. I might also have to reshoot but that's ok. Thanks so much!

  5. You know, I must have had this in mind when I finally went and recolored Amelia's coat last night, because that was exactly what I was trying to do - Photoshopping things together, trying to change the perspective and botching it badly most of the time, lol! So in a roundabout kind of way, these ultrasound machines inspired Amelia's new coat ;)

But anyway, thanks for these! And thank you for doing a few recolors of them too. These will get a ton of use!!!

  6. Thanks so much for the recolors! Don't know when I'll get to use the machine since I have no pregnant sims in sight, but always good to have them when I need 'em.

  8. Christi, you're welcome! You're not the Christi who writes the McTavishams, are you? If so, had you said something on your blog, I probably would have volunteered to do it but I guess that would have ruined the surprise! ;)

    1. I kind of forgot I did them myself! Once I'm ready to do the ultrasound room, I'll have to pop them back in for my own hospital.I'll probably get to see them in Dr. Ono's office first though, so I hope you enjoy them!

    1. Which isn't showing up for you, Anon? The mesh or just my recolours? No one else has reported any problems, so I suspect you might have some sort of conflict with your other CC.

    1. Absolutely everything up for download on the blog is for Sims 2. I have never shared any content for Sims 3 or 4.
