Round 33 ROS

I usually put these up a bit earlier but better late than never. Here are next round's ROS! No deaths this time but I can tell you that I do have one elder death coming up this round, after a long spell of seeming immortality for Sullivan residents. :(

As always, I will be adding links to the ROS as they happen. Please note that if you click these and you're not caught up yet, you will read spoilers. I'll leave it up to you to decide if that will bother you or not.

  1. Interesting ROS this round. How do you know that you have an elder death coming up?

    1. Whenever I age a Sim to elder, I check Inge's Days Left Shrub to see how long they've got left. Then I add it to my deaths list, lol. So morbid! But basically, I know exactly when all my elders will die, barring any ROS or accidental death that might crop up before then.

      Thanks for reading!

    2. Ooo, thanks for sharing. I never know but I didn't know about that handy hack. And you have a death list! Wow.

    3. You're welcome! Heh, I pretty much have to have a death list. I play with aging off, so they'd never die otherwise. Or I'd just have to guess, lol.

  2. Very various ROS this round. I'm glad you don't have death-one this time. I'm afraid to roll mine for next round, I've had 2 deaths and I'm rolling ROS 2 rounds now :(

I can't wait to see who it all will happen to :)

    1. I would probably give myself a free pass to re-roll if I was you and I got another death ROS next round. It's too traumatising to do too many times in a row!

      Thanks for reading!

  3. Uh-oh, that "Pursue a relationship with the Sim you're most attracted to" ROS wrecked long-standing grief on my hood... one of the end results was the spectacularly disastrous end of Cory's first marriage, the other end result was Melissa! Glad you're happy about it, that suggests that the results for your sims might not be quite so traumatic :)

    1. It's definitely one that can mess things up a lot. The last time I remember rolling it (I could have rolled it again since but I'm not sure) was when Betsy had an affair with Linnea. Hopefully this one won't be quite as traumatic. ;)

      Thanks for reading!

  4. "Pursue a relationship with the Sim you're most attracted to" is totally my favorite!!! (bad me who enjoys dramas and love stories!)

(I won't catch up tonight, as it's 4:00 am, and that I'm getting a bit tired... *roll* but hopefully, I'll be able to catch up tomorrow. I had a blast at reading about your Sims. I hope there's nothing too traumatizing in the last posts I have to read before being up to date! ;))

You're doing so great with Sullivan. *admirative sigh*

    1. I've got into so much trouble with that ROS before but that's one of the purposes of the ROS, I guess!

Goodness, you were up late! Glad you had fun catching up - you're almost there. ;) I think there are about five story updates to go, as well as some birthdays and a lot tour. :)

      Thanks for reading!

  5. I'm so sad that there is an elder death this round. I hope it's not Lake. Was hoping you gave them some pity and let them stay longer. I'm excited to read these esp the relationship one, and it's all blue and clicky up there. Ahh I nearly peeked but I'm going to forge ahead and not spoil it for myself! I'm soo behind!

Ps I'm so happy that you don't have the word verification anymore. I lost so many comments to that whilst on my phone. :-)

    1. Well, we've had like three rounds with no deaths, so I think we've had enough of a reprieve for a while! I've got to make way for some young blood, especially with this population. I won't say who it is but well...you'll find out when it happens. (

Oh, I remember you saying you lost comments sometimes on your phone but didn't realise it was because of word verification! Monique wasn't able to comment at all a couple of weeks back, so I turned it off, figuring she wasn't the only one. It doesn't seem to do anything anyway. I've still had spam comments come in occasionally.

      Thanks for reading!
