You say it's your birthday, Spring 2028

Asha Lane was just about to head back to work after maternity leave when she got pregnant again! She and Luc will welcome a brother or sister for Ruby in May 2029 but until then, Asha has plenty of time to drum to her heart's content.

Notes:
  • Brother or sister, but hopefully a brother! ;) The boy shortage is getting ridiculous.

  1. Can't wait for the next baby Lane! Hopefully a boy indeed, but I don't think they'll mind either way ;)

  3. As I already said in my comment on your previous post, I'm really excited a bout this baby because Ruby already is such a cutie!

I'm excited about the switch to months as well, you convinced me to take another look at the number of families I have to do the same :)

  4. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a boy too! I'd love to see another Luc look alike running around.

  5. Hopefully all of your boy vibes help! I still have a boy name saved from last time. ;)

But I also picked out another really cute name for a girl, so I won't be too disappointed if I get to use that.

  6. Yay for another one! Here's hoping its a boy!

I'm really looking forward to how you do the months for birthdays. I always wanted to do that, but thought my posts would be cluttered with lots of birth posts, since I do one post per month.

  7. Maisie, I don't think it'll make a huge difference, in my case. Babies aging to toddler will have their birthdays in the month they were born, but everyone else will still age up in the new year, like they always have.

It might mean a couple of extra posts, say if I have a baby born in March and then one in May. Previously, they would both have been in one Autumn post but they'll be separate now.

  8. Isn't it crazy, I read so much about boy-shortages in 'hoods (and I have one in mine), but no one ever seems to have a girl-shortage!

    Fingers x'd... :)

  9. Blackcat, yes, I know! I've noticed the same thing. I think Shana or somebody said they had a girl shortage way back but other than that, boy shortages seem to be way more common!

  10. WIth Luc's luck it'll be a girl, lol.

  11. Lunar, LOL, you might be right! It'd be karma for all the poor women who crossed Luc's path in his younger days!
