You say it's your birthday, November 2040

November 2040 (Spring)

The first trimester of Patience Ashton's surprise third pregnancy was not pleasant.

Patience is now into her second trimester, her morning sickness is over and she and Rob have told Felicity and Patrick that they'll be getting a new brother or sister soon enough.

Both kids are quite happy with the prospect, fortunately!

Felicity in particular has been full of questions, which Patience and Rob are attempting to answer as age-appropriately as they can!

Baby Ashton will arrive in May 2041!

Notes:
  • Patience threw up three or four times in the 24 hours I played this family. Poor woman! That's a lot for a sim or a human!
  • It was very nice to go into a family's house and see everything already decorated! I think this is the first birthdays since my rebuild where I've had that experience. I've just been doing super-quick decorating jobs on the one room I need for pictures and leaving the rest of the house. Most sims are moved in but many houses are still not decorated properly. Can't wait until I'm all done with houses, then I can focus more on community lots. :)

  3. I'm really curious to see their baby. I'm hoping for a blonde this time. I hope the rest of her pregnancy goes smoothly.

    1. I'm hoping for a blonde too, actually! I've finally had a couple of redheaded boys born, so I don't need to hope for one every time now. ;) I'm not sure what sex to hope for. I'll have to check my ratios!

I can imagine it being a nice change when you enter a house and it's completely decorated!

    1. The baby was a surprise to all involved (me included!) but I'm quite excited about it now too.

I so cannot wait until I have all my houses decorated! Unfortunately, I still have 25 houses left to decorate, versus 20 that I've finished. Long way to go!

  5. She is adorable with a baby bump! Excited to see what they have and what color the baby has too. Hopefully those last 25 houses won't take terribly long, will be nice when you get it all finished. I've had a few living in non-decorated houses, and I just dreaded when it was their time to be played.

    1. I know, I love pregnant Patience - such a cutie! I'll probably roll for the baby's colour before it's born, so I can get the nursery ready. So maybe I'll show that in the next pregnancy update.

I'm hoping the 25 houses don't take too long either but man, how could they not, lol? I did Cordy and Eliot's fairly quickly though, so I have hope! I actually find I decorate quicker when I have more CC. Decorating with no CC/hardly any CC just made me despair at how little usable stuff I have!

    2. Decorating without CC is really difficult, and it feels like you are constantly reusing the same things, and when you find something that you DO like, it's not in the color you want. At least those have been my experiences.

Do you know what gender you are hoping for now?

    3. Yeah, more CC is definitely why I'm enjoying decorating more and more as I go along. I will probably end up redecorating a lot of the places I did at the beginning of the year when I go back and play them again. They're filled with the same useable EA stuff.

I think I'm going to hope for a girl now. This year, I had two boys and two girls born but the two years before that, I had all boys. So a girl would balance things out nicely. :)

    1. The morning sickness thankfully seems to have passed for poor Patience. Now they just have the baby to look forward to. :)
