Lot Tour: Veronaville Villa Makeover

For the N99 Project in May, the challenge was to make over the Veronaville Villa, a house in the EA hood of Veronaville and turn it into a community lot. I didn't get started on it until June, because I had absolutely no clue what I was going to do with it! You've already seen this lot in the last update but I thought some of you might want to take a closer look at it as well.

Welcome to Exeter's as-yet-unnamed day spa, selectively photographed here so you can't see that there is bamboo poking through the roof at several points. ;)

The layout. The stairs lead up to a little room but I didn't put anything there. Some of the N99ers have given me some good suggestions that I'm considering though!

The zen garden out front.

Reception, with some armchairs which you can't quite see in this shot.

The massage parlour. I'm planning on swapping out those arches for actual doors - not much privacy here at the moment!

The salon. I added Sandy's salon set to my game especially for this lot.

The hot tub and sauna.

The little shop, which I imagine would sell branded toiletries and t-shirts and the like.

And finally, the bathrooms, which I don't completely hate. ;) The men's and women's are identical.

Hope you enjoyed the tour!

  1. I like the idea of the little shop selling toiletries etc.! Also, proper doors between the massage parlour and reception are a good idea ;-)

    1. I had no idea what else I would put there if not a shop, lol, so I'm glad it works for you! And yes, I went and changed that doorway out just yesterday, actually. It's now that Shoji-style door from BV. :)

      Thanks for looking!

  3. What about "NuYu"? I've always wanted to use that name once I built a spa/salon in Laurel Crossing.

  4. It looks great! The layout of the building works really well for a spa/salon. And I love the zen garden in the courtyard!

    1. Thank goodness, because the layout didn't seem to work very well for anything else I thought of! I'm happy with how the place turned out though and I'm glad you like it too. :)

      Thanks for looking!

  5. Oh yes, I remember the tour from your Tumblr (and from the story I've just re-read, of course!) I love that spa! It's chic, warm. Very cozy. I'm glad to know you don't completely hate the toilet rooms, because I LOVE them!
