Choosing careers

Recently, I came across Apple Valley's awesome system for choosing a job for Sims and decided to give it a try (slightly edited) in my own game. It's been very helpful for me in deciding on a career path for Sims who don't  have a career LTW and where no career is jumping out at me as the perfect option. It was how I decided that Jacob Weaver would be joining the fire department and I've chosen careers for some other Sims, which I'll reveal as I go.

My Sims don't necessarily need to fit every single one of these criteria before choosing a job for them but it's a nice guide.

I've expanded Apple Valley's system to account for the many custom careers I use in my game. I've made minor changes to a couple of the Maxis careers as well but seeing there's already a great framework for you to make your own edits to the default careers at AV, I'll only share what I've done for the custom careers here. I've also linked to the career download, where I could.
