November 2046 (Spring)
Jeremy Halmi wasn't supposed to turn one until February but with his early arrival, his birthday is now in November.
Jeremy is still being observed closely to watch for any health problems that may develop as a result of his premature birth. So far, the family has been lucky in that nothing particularly serious has shown itself and Jeremy is a happy, relatively healthy little boy.
Gavin Lachance is also turning one!
He's still a little young to say for sure but Gavin appears to be an extrovert growing up in a family full of introverts.

Notes:
- Wanted to give Jeremy glasses, because I know a lot of premature kids have vision issues. I forgot to check if any of mine are enabled for toddler though. I'll check next time I'm in game but if not, I'll give him some specs when he ages to child. You can't really tell in the pics (I should have taken a pic of him next to Gavin!) but his height is 0.88, versus a toddler's normal 1.0. Most premies eventually catch up in size though, so he will be tall when he gets older, like both his parents are.
- Totally forgot Gavin has brown hair! Oscar does too but Gavin has Dominic's colouring other than his hair, while Oscar is much more like Leslie. Love genetic variation!
- When I rerolled personality points, Gavin ended up with a whopping 9 outgoing points - no one else in the family has more than 3!
- I think Jeremy has Daniel's eyes and nose and Susannah's mouth...which was actually what I was hoping for, so that works for me! Gavin has Dominic's eyes, Leslie's nose and...one of their mouths? Their mouths look really similar to me, so I'm not sure! Maybe Dominic's, as I think his lips are slightly thicker.
Aww, I'm glad Jeremy is doing great! It's a relief that things have been good and he's growing without any issues after experiencing the panic a premature birth can bring.

Jeremy will probably have some minor health issues down the line but I've already decided it won't be anything catastrophic. That's too sad!
DeleteWell, Gavin is certainly achieving that! Might make for an interesting family dynamic down the track!
