Since Collette's death, I think everyone in our household is coping as well as can be expected. Dinner was very quiet the first couple of nights but I just wanted to make sure everyone ate something. Kirstin and Julian didn't have much of an appetite.
Since Dad promoted Magdalena to manager, they tend to bother her with their complaints instead of him. They'll actually call her away from the stove just to bitch about Dad's waitress.

After Kirstin's maternity leave was up, I decided to go and speak to my boss about taking some time off to stay home with Adelaide.
Ever since Camilla and Lila turned 4, the Sitko house has been feeling decidedly small.
Well, if we're going to do this evil witch thing, we may as well go the whole hog and have Collette dressed appropriately too. The real witches' dress, for some reason, doesn't show up in my game. It used to but whatever. The vampire dress will have to do! Collette's skin did not turn green because even though I've never planned to play with witches, it would bother me immensely if the evil witch who won't stay away from my damn community lots (I really hope that SimWardrobe hack works for me!) had green skin.

Our holiday to Takemizu did not really get off to a good start. David surprised me with a weekend away to celebrate the promotions we both just received. Starting out with a raging headache was not really how either of us has envisioned the vacation beginning.
The first is Mina Lachance, who is still keen on retirement but is thinking that Rock God status might be more important to her than she initially thought.

So I've graduated and moved back in with my parents. The whole reason I went to college was to become a lawyer and now I am one and I can't get a job with a law firm. None are hiring. So I'm doing tabloid journalism instead. How prestigious.
