As soon as I found out there was a newspaper here, I decided I had to write for it. So perfect for a journalism major like me! I’ve spent most of my spare time since then putting together some writing samples to submit to them.
Moving into the dorms together has meant Bianca and I are now sharing a room again. It’s been several years since we’ve done that, so that’s been different.
The pottery store is closed at the moment, in preparation to move, so Mum is taking the opportunity to replenish the stock. She wants to make sure there are plenty of pieces to put back on the shelves when she reopens.
I’m in Grade 11 this year and I’ve promised Dad that I will really knuckle down and work hard. I still don’t know what I want to do when I’m older but I know I’ll have more options available if I go to college.
Veronica is now a junior, so it’s time for her to begin her mandatory two years of student teaching. This year, she’ll be working at Sullivan High School.
Now that she’s in her second trimester, Matilda’s morning sickness has passed and she was hoping to see out the rest of her pregnancy by not doing much of anything at all.
