I’m in Grade 11 this year and I’ve promised Dad that I will really knuckle down and work hard. I still don’t know what I want to do when I’m older but I know I’ll have more options available if I go to college.
I took over Tatiana’s class at the beginning of this year and I can honestly say that I love my job.
Veronica is now a junior, so it’s time for her to begin her mandatory two years of student teaching. This year, she’ll be working at Sullivan High School.

This term, we have Pamela's daughter Julia with us as a student teacher. It doesn't seem like so long ago that I was a student teacher but I just realised it was actually 10 years ago!
This morning, Kendal's first duty is to brief Julia Gray on what will be required of her as a student teacher. It's only her first day so she will mostly be observing. Julia will be working with the older kids, in Joanna's classroom.
When Tatiana took some time off after the death of her mother, Pamela agreed to deal with all of her principal duties while she was gone. She's due to return today and Pamela is just finishing up some paper work, so there's not too much for Tatiana to do first thing in the morning.
Kendal Draper has been appointed as the new principal of Sullivan High, after the death of previous principal Betsy Carmody. She's up with the sun this morning, trying to stay positive about her first day. She's nervous about taking on the job. On top of regular teaching duties, she will now have to deal with administrative work, calling and meeting with parents and dealing with discipline problems that might arise.
It's not even 9am yet and Adelaide is already causing trouble "playing" with Jessica.
Sophie Gottlieb is fed up. For two years, she's tried to make Jack Benton notice her, only to be ignored in favour of Audrey, Julia and who knows who else.
This update is going to be a little bit more commentary-style than usual. The game was not co-operating for this and I ended up playing the school over 3 or 4 sessions. So it all got a little disjointed but hopefully, you can still enjoy some cute pictures!
As there are no pre-schoolers this year, Pamela Gray will be teaching kindergarten, while Tatiana keeps the Grade 1s and 2s.

Watching Malcolm and his ex-girlfriend Susannah together has given me a pretty good idea of how not to treat a girl.
Finn Romilly is almost at the end of his second year of teaching and he's feeling quite relieved at the thought. He's been teaching Grades 4-6 this year and he won't be sorry to see the back of Lila Sitko, who's heading off to high school.
After months of pining after his older sister's best friend, Matilda, Malcolm has been looking at his friend Susannah in a different way.
With such a small enrolment this year, Betsy has been able take on a non-teaching role. Kendal's been teaching long enough now to handle all the students on her own and now Betsy's admin work won't have to take a back seat this year. Maybe she can finally get on top of everything!
