8 months in and Caroline Novak is finally growing some hair. Thick blonde hair, which hasn’t been seen in the family since Malcolm’s great-grandmother.

It's so quiet without Adrienne and Malcolm around. No stomping through the house every afternoon after school, no constant stream of teenage visitors coming in and out the door, no whining about homework, or dinner, or anything else.
We had to move quite suddenly at the beginning of this summer, due to an electrical fire in our home. Thankfully, it happened while we were all out so no one was hurt.
As well as babysitting, I've been working with Mum at her boutique. She was running it by herself for a while but she says she can't run the store and man the cash register at the same time.
