Petra loses her motivation
Round 6: College
Back at Suffolk University and Petra was attempting to finish her last two years but had absolutely zero interest in going to class, doing assignments, term papers or skilling. It was like she just remembered she's a Romance sim. She was all about men this rotation. I'm amazed I was able to get her to graduate at all (my Sims have to have the want to skill and do assignments at college). She would have flunked her final exam but she got the want to do an assignment that morning and that nudged her just enough over the edge to pass. I have never had a worse student!
In between boys and almost flunking out, she did find time to befriend Xanthia, this rotation's only incoming freshman. Drusilla wanted to go to college but got demoted on the day she was due to leave, so she lost her fourth scholarship and no longer qualified. Lucky she didn't have the fear of not going, because that's a 10,000 point aspiration hit, I believe.
What'd I tell you about the hula? The Morettis really did spread it to everybody. Here Raffaella makes sure I'll have no reprieve from it even from dormies.
Xanthia seems to be settling in well. She met Stan on her first day and they hit it off. She's Family and she was almost in love with him so no wants to get engaged yet.
Just a quick one of the resident artists, Elias and Nathalie (who has gone back to her natural hair colour). Both have Arts and Crafts as their OTH but Elias never had the money to pursue pottery very much as a teen. With all the grant money he got from his grades, he was able to buy a pottery wheel and supplies and now has a gold badge. I'm going to have him open a shop eventually. I hate home businesses, so it'll be a community lot one.

Once Alexandra became a toddler, there was no doubt who her daddy is. She looked very similar to how her half-sisters looked when they were toddlers.

Round 6: Days 26-30
Did I mention how Emmy is constantly over at everyone else's houses, completely uninvited? Perhaps that's why Sacha has started to stray. Anyway, here she is giving Justina her two cents' worth about her sewing skills. Since Charlton and Collette became toddlers, Justina has made all the family's clothes on her sewing machine (except their outerwear, which is stupidly not an option). She turned the little hallway at the top of the stairs into a sewing room.Sacha's philandering worsens
Round 6: Days 26-30
Back at the Lachances, Georgette proves herself a true lady, mere seconds after aging to teen. I love how Vivienne looks disgusted and Sacha and Leontine are giggling. It's very dark because it was night and they can't afford lights yet!
Disagreements over the hilarity of flatulence notwithstanding, the Lachance kids actually get along very well. All my Sim kids seem to. I wonder how other Simmers seem to have siblings at each others' throats all the time. I guess that activity table in the living room really helped them bond as little ones.
Tut tut. That doesn't look like Emmy, Sacha. Emmy was working nights at this point and this is what Sacha did once he got all the kids in bed. I went ahead and gave him Romance as a secondary aspiration, seeing he and Kristina started that affair all on their lonesome. I guess he must have always had it in him.
Isaac alone
Round 6: Days 26-30
Isaac's a loooong way from the family farm he grew up on now! He didn't like everything about his dingy little apartment but he did like the basketball hoop on the roof. He's a Sports Sim, after all.
He likes the extra privacy too.
He wasn't very fond of his neighbour though. This guy made noise constantly - Isaac had his evenings interrupted by loud music and what sounded suspiciously like woohoo. Anyway, it's not something Isaac ever had to deal with on the farm. Their closest neighbours were right up the other end of the road and the Kirbys are a pretty quiet family anyway.
The Draper farm gets a name change
It's now the Moretti farm. I want to see if I can keep all the surnames around, so Simona will be giving the Moretti name to any children. Seeing most people in the house will be Morettis, it didn't make much sense to keep calling it the Draper farm.
Down at said farm, Jonah has moved back in and brought his girlfriend Simona with him (she's telling him about her beach vacation here). Simona toned down her look a bit when she graduated. Her LTW is to become the Minister of Education - so she has a softer hairstyle and lighter make-up. She still has her nose stud though.
She wasn't completely thrilled about the prospect of manual labour but Jonah promised her he'll do the bulk of it, so she tried not to complain. Much.
Jonah and Simona soon decided they were ready to become parents, so here they are eagerly awaiting the new arrival.For your information, neither of them have had the want to get married, which is really unusual for Knowledge Sims in my game. They're usually almost as eager as Family Sims to settle down. But anyway, they won't marry until one of them lets me know they want to.
I told you I was lucky with these genie lamps! Raffaella still has an unused one in her inventory that her nonna gave her before she died and Kristina Novak has one stashed away too. Anyway, Jonah and Simona really needed the cash because they did up the living room a bit and would like to do the rest of the house. It was very bare bones while Angelica was raising the boys, because they needed the money for more important things. It's much more inviting now.
